HEINUS – NEW YORK The UN is expected to recognize South Sudan as a new country on July 14. South Sudan will be the 193rd member of the United Nations. South Sudan will not be alone, however, as several other new nations are expected to take the world stage in the next few months. Some of the new countries include:
West Southwestern Western Sahara – The disputed territory of Western Sahara, largely controlled by Morocco, will produce a new country when the West Southwestern section breaks free and becomes independent under the auspices of the WSWS Warriors (WSWSW), a national liberation front sponsored by WisPride cheese spread.
Stanistan – Long an oppressed minority in both Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the Stani people will gain a new homeland in Central Asia when the new nation of Stanistan is formed in a dry lake bed between the two countries. The new nation’s religion holds both Stan Lee and Stanley Kubrick to be have been divine manifestations of the eternal godhead and the two will be enshrined as co-ruling deities in the capital of Stanleyville.
Mexicalexico – The Mexican town of Mexicali and the California town of Calexico will secede from their respective nations and form a new nation on the U.S./Mexican border, much the way Andorra exits between Spain and France. The new Mexicalexican government, headed by fashion designer and former Fashion Institute of Technology ombudsman Tommy Hilfiger, anticipates the freshly minted country will become a successful tax haven and net exporter of sand paintings.
